Peer Feedback

 We went over our film with our peers so we can improve our first draft. They gave us a lot of constructive criticism. They explained to us ways to improve our film through editing and fixing things we made mistakes on. They pointed out to us problems with our credits and problem with the story Explaining to us how we need to have a hook for our film which we lacked. They told us to watch opening films such as the matrix to get a better idea of how to improve our film. I am very thankful for them and the feedback it helped us create a better overall film.

 Genre in film are the categories that we put film such as horror, comedy, action and etc. There are also hybrid genres which a mixture of two different genre. A subgenre is an element of a main genre example slasher and gothic are subgenres of horror. Genre is important because it lets the audience know what type of film, they will end up watching letting them know what type of films they like so when a new film comes, the audience will watch it if they like a certain genre.  The objective of this storyboard is to help us learn camera movements and how to use them for our 2-minute film. Camera movement is movement in film. We learned about many different camera movements. Examples are Tilt, Static, Tracking, and Random. We also use framing, shot sizes, and camera angles in the storyboard. First, we pick a camera movement and action line then identify the size, framing, and angle of the shot. Doing this assignment help more learn to properly create a storyboard and helped me effectively learn how to do difference camera movements that will help very much with our 2-minute film.
