 This objective of this slide was to anaylze the setting of a film. So I can understand different things about the setting. the place of the movie is in New York. The time period is modern they have technology that is found in our world right now. The mood of the setting is usually dark.


The reason why setting is so important is that it gives the film meaning to the movie. It helps the movie further explore so the story. That’s why we use techniques like mise en to analyze scenes.

 Genre in film are the categories that we put film such as horror, comedy, action and etc. There are also hybrid genres which a mixture of two different genre. A subgenre is an element of a main genre example slasher and gothic are subgenres of horror.  The objective of this storyboard is to help us learn camera movements and how to use them for our 2-minute film. Camera movement is movement in film. We learned about many different camera movements. Examples are Tilt, Static, Tracking, and Random. We also use framing, shot sizes, and camera angles in the storyboard. First, we pick a camera movement and action line then identify the size, framing, and angle of the shot. Doing this assignment help more learn to properly create a storyboard and helped me effectively learn how to do difference camera movements that will help very much with our 2-minute film.
