Camera movement is a filmmaking technique that causes a change in frame or perspective through the movement of the camera. Camera movement is important in film because it helps add different elements into a film. An example is to emphasize on specific subjects. It can also be used to add suspense to a scene.

he is known for a collection of movies one is which have nominated him for an academy award he is known for works such as Pariah, Solo: A Star Wars story, and Arrival.



Camera movements I knew before these lessons are Zoom in and whip pan. I have seen both of these movements in films that I have watched. I recognized zoom in from the scenes that start out then the subject becomes closer to the scene.
To recognize whip pan I can tell from how fast the camera moves and has a special effect because the camera blurs during this quick movement.

 Genre in film are the categories that we put film such as horror, comedy, action and etc. There are also hybrid genres which a mixture of two different genre. Preliminary Exercise Camera Movement Storyboard

 The objective of this storyboard is to help us learn camera movements and how to use them for our 2-minute film. Camera movement is movement in film. We learned about many different camera movements. Examples are Tilt, Static, Tracking, and Random. We also use framing, shot sizes, and camera angles in the storyboard. First, we pick a camera movement and action line then identify the size, framing, and angle of the shot. Doing this assignment help more learn to properly create a storyboard and helped me effectively learn how to do difference camera movements that will help very much with our 2-minute film.
